Last updated: 3 November 2026
Welcome to Sidonie.
These Terms & Conditions outline important information about our services, bookings, payments and appointment policies.
By booking a session or purchasing a service, you acknowledge the terms applicable to your booking, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
1. Our Services
Sidonie offers complementary wellbeing services, including:
In-person kinesiology sessions for adults and children
Live online kinesiology sessions by arrangement
Specialised remote kinesiology sessions for people and animals
Kinesiology sessions incorporating the Sonawave Reset Method
Session packages and other wellbeing offerings as advertised
Sessions are tailored to individual needs. The techniques used may vary according to the purpose of the session, client preferences, consent and professional suitability.
2. Scope of Practice
Kinesiology and related wellbeing services are complementary practices intended to support personal awareness, relaxation and general wellbeing.
They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, veterinary or other qualified healthcare services.
Sidonie does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications or guarantee specific outcomes.
Please continue with any recommended medical care and consult an appropriate registered health professional about health concerns, symptoms or treatment decisions.
Clients are encouraged to disclose relevant health information, injuries, pregnancy, medications or circumstances that could affect the safe and appropriate delivery of a session.
3. Appointments & Bookings
Appointments can be booked through Sidonie's online booking system or by prior arrangement.
In-person sessions are offered at Stafford Heights, Brisbane, with limited availability in Ashgrove. Live online appointments may also be arranged where appropriate.
Clients are responsible for selecting the correct service, providing accurate booking details and checking their appointment confirmation.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your session may still need to finish at its originally scheduled time to avoid affecting subsequent bookings.
The full session price may remain payable where a shortened session results from late arrival, subject to applicable consumer rights.
4. Payments & Booking Deposits
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD).
Payment requirements depend on the service selected and are displayed during booking.
Some services require a $50 deposit to secure the appointment, with the remaining balance payable at the session. Where offered, clients may choose to pay the full amount upfront.
The deposit forms part of the total session price and is not an additional charge.
For change-of-mind cancellations, an applicable booking deposit may be retained to the extent that the amount is reasonable, reflects legitimate costs or losses, and is permitted by law.
Other appointments may be booked without advance payment.
Specialised remote sessions require full payment before the service is commenced.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Booking Policy
At Sidonie, each appointment is thoughtfully reserved for you, allowing dedicated time, preparation and personalised care.
We understand that circumstances can change. To ensure fairness to clients and respect for the time reserved, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.
Rescheduling with 48 Hours or More Notice
Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability.
Any eligible deposit or prepaid amount will be transferred in full to the rescheduled appointment.
If you're unable to commit to a new date immediately, we can hold eligible prepaid funds as an appointment credit.
Appointment Credits
Eligible credits arising from an appointment change are intended to remain available for 12 months from the original payment date, subject to applicable law.
The credit can be applied towards a future eligible Sidonie session, subject to appointment availability and any difference in service price.
Credits issued as a remedy required under Australian Consumer Law will not be restricted in a way that reduces your statutory rights.
Purchased gift cards and vouchers, if offered, are governed by their applicable terms and the minimum validity required by law.
Cancellations with 48 Hours or More Notice
If you prefer to cancel rather than reschedule, any eligible prepaid amount above an applicable, reasonable booking cancellation charge will be refunded.
For appointments with a $50 booking deposit, Sidonie may retain up to $50 where the amount is reasonable in the circumstances and permitted by law.
If a higher amount was prepaid, the refundable balance will be returned to the original payment method where practicable.
We encourage clients to consider rescheduling or keeping an appointment credit as an alternative.
Late Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend an appointment, may result in the retention of an applicable deposit or reasonable cancellation charge, where permitted by law.
The amount retained will depend on the booking terms and relevant circumstances, and will not exceed what is lawfully recoverable.
Where no advance payment has been collected, Sidonie may record the late cancellation or missed appointment and review future booking arrangements rather than pursue an unpaid cancellation fee.
Where appropriate and agreed in advance, an in-person kinesiology appointment may be changed to a live online session.
Repeated Late Cancellations or Non-Attendance
In cases of repeated late cancellations or missed appointments, Sidonie may require a deposit or full prepayment for future bookings, or decline future appointment requests where lawful and appropriate.
Individual circumstances, emergencies and any required reasonable adjustments will be considered.
Unexpected Circumstances
We understand that illness, emergencies and unforeseen situations can occur.
Please contact Sidonie as early as possible if you need to change your appointment. Individual circumstances will be considered with care.
6. Reconnect Bundle
The Reconnect Bundle includes three 90-minute kinesiology sessions for $520.
A $50 deposit is required at booking, with the remaining $470 payable at the first appointment unless the full bundle price has already been paid.
The bundle is intended to be completed within six months of purchase.
Individual appointments within the bundle remain subject to the applicable cancellation and rescheduling policy.
If you cannot complete the bundle within the stated period, please contact Sidonie before its expiry to discuss your circumstances.
Any refund, adjustment or extension will be considered in accordance with the booking terms, the services already provided and applicable consumer rights.
7. Live Online Kinesiology Sessions
Live online sessions are conducted in real time via video call by prior arrangement.
Clients are responsible for providing a suitable private space, a reliable internet connection and any information reasonably required before the appointment.
Techniques may be adapted to suit the online format.
If technical difficulties significantly interrupt a session, Sidonie will discuss an appropriate solution, including rescheduling or a remedy where required by law.
8. Specialised Remote Kinesiology Sessions
Specialised remote kinesiology sessions are completed without a live appointment or video call.
Clients are asked to provide relevant details and information about the issues or areas they would like to explore.
Once full payment and the necessary information have been received, the remote session is generally completed within 24–72 hours, followed by a written report.
This timeframe is an estimate rather than a guarantee. Clients will be contacted if a significant delay is expected.
Because remote sessions involve individually prepared work, cancellation requests made after the service has commenced will be considered in light of the work completed, the agreed terms and applicable consumer rights.
Remote sessions for animals require permission from the animal's owner or authorised carer and do not replace veterinary assessment or treatment.
9. Sonawave Reset Sessions
Sonawave Reset sessions may incorporate gentle vibrational tools, bodywork and kinesiology techniques.
The techniques used depend on individual suitability, consent and the professional scope of the session.
Clients should advise Sidonie of any relevant health conditions, injuries, sensitivities or other concerns before treatment.
The session may be modified or discontinued where a particular technique is unsuitable.
Sonawave Reset sessions are not a replacement for medical assessment or treatment, and specific physical or therapeutic outcomes are not guaranteed.
10. Children & Parental Consent
For clients under 18, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.
A parent or guardian may be required to attend the session, depending on the child's age, circumstances and the nature of the appointment.
Children's comfort, privacy, preferences and appropriate professional boundaries will be respected throughout the session.
A parent or guardian is responsible for providing relevant information and communicating any concerns that may affect the session.
11. Informed Consent & Client Participation
Sessions are collaborative and participation is voluntary.
The practitioner will explain relevant techniques and seek consent before proceeding with hands-on work.
Clients may ask questions, decline a technique, request a pause or withdraw consent at any point.
If a technique is unsuitable or outside the practitioner's scope, it may be modified or omitted.
Any effect on the session or payment arrangements will be discussed fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
12. Respectful Conduct & Professional Boundaries
Sidonie is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment.
We ask clients to treat the practitioner, clinic space and others with the same consideration.
Aggressive, threatening, harassing or otherwise unsafe behaviour may result in a session being paused or ended.
Sidonie reserves the right to refuse future bookings for legitimate reasons, where lawful, non-discriminatory and consistent with existing contractual obligations.
13. Cancellations or Changes by Sidonie
Occasionally, appointments may need to be changed because of illness, unforeseen circumstances or practitioner unavailability.
Sidonie will endeavour to notify affected clients as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative appointment where appropriate.
If an alternative is not suitable, clients will receive any refund or other remedy required under Australian Consumer Law.
14. Privacy & Confidentiality
Sidonie respects the privacy of clients and handles personal information with care.
Information collected through enquiries, bookings, intake forms, consultations and remote-session requests may be used to arrange and provide services, maintain appropriate records and communicate about appointments.
Relevant information may be processed by third-party booking, payment, communication and website providers.
Further information about the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information is available in Sidonie's Privacy Policy.
15. Session Reports & Intellectual Property
Website content, written materials, original images, branding and session resources created by Sidonie remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
Reports and resources provided following a session are intended for the client's personal use, unless otherwise agreed.
They must not be reproduced, sold, republished or commercially distributed without permission, except as permitted by law.
16. Feedback & Concerns
Your experience matters.
If you have a question, concern or feedback about a session, booking or payment, please contact Sidonie so that the matter can be discussed and an appropriate resolution explored.
You may also access any external complaint or consumer protection processes available to you under Australian law.
17. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation charges and deposit retention will be applied only where reasonable and legally permitted.
Where a refund, repeat service or another remedy is required by law, that entitlement takes precedence over Sidonie's standard booking policies.
18. Updates to These Terms
Sidonie may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The terms applicable to a booking will generally be those disclosed and agreed to at the time of booking, unless a change is subsequently agreed or required by law.
19. Contact
For questions regarding appointments, bookings, payments or these Terms & Conditions, please contact Sidonie through the website's Contact page.
